"No, it's just... It's new," Winter replied, looking a bit unsure of himself and fidgeting on the bed.
He sat up a bit, raking his fingers through his hair and wrapping his arms around himself.
"All of this is new, Phouka. I've never... You know. Not willingly."
He sounded so grown up now, post his time as a mortal. In fact, Winter seemed to have aged slightly all around. Just a little, but still a noticeable amount to those who knew him.
