Phouka

Valentine's had passed, and as lovely as that day had been, Winter found himself still caught up in the lingering romance of the day. He'd taken to watching romantic comedies, rather than horror flicks. Had even started reading more romantic novels, rather than the historical novels he'd been swimming in before. He even found himself tidying up more, keeping the bedroom neat and inviting, so they'd both be more inclined to linger there.

And tonight? Tonight he had decided they should go out to do something romantic. ...A trip to the museum, he'd decided. Art was definitely romantic. Couples were always looking at art in movies and things.

Dressed up, the pixie was looking like an actual adult as he lead the way inside, his hand reaching for the Phouka's as he spoke.

"This will be fun, don't you think? We can look at art, then get some coffee at the cafe," he grinned. "...Or not coffee. Whatever you want. It's my treat, Phouka."

"Well, I like my body just fine. ...Yours too," Winter assured him. "We can enjoy each others' skin while they hide theirs."

[phouka]

"I would like that very much, he replied, bending so he could kiss the back of Winter's neck. "I think those are romantic words."

Winter went a bit pink, but his smile grew.

"Good. ...You deserve romance, my Phouka mine."

[phouka]

"Is it your aim to woo me today?" he asked, a smile dancing on his lips though he tried to school his face to something neutral.

[winter_wisp]

"It wasn't, but it is now," Winter grinned. "Woo. ...That's a good word. Woooooooo. I'm going to woo you, Phouka."

[phouka]

"I am pleased that you will try," the taller creature replied. He smiled and put his arm around Winter to pull him close. "But first, come and we will enjoy the art."

Winter leaned into the embrace, grinning brightly. "I am looking at the art now. I'm looking at you, Phouka," the pixie peeped.

[phouka]

If it was Winter's intention to make him swoon, that alone was enough. The Phouka did not know what to say for the longest moment. And then, thinking as he did with his heart, rather than answer he tipped Winter's chin up and bent low so that he could kiss him. It was slow and sweet, but chaste.

Winter hummed happily into the kiss, returning it and doing his best to remain decent- But only because they were in public.

[phouka]

The Phouka hummed softly, his eyes closed and his mouth curved into a smile.

"You are the sweetest," he said softly against Winter's lips. "I think you will not have to try hard to woo me at all."

"I will do so anyway," Winter assured him, drawing away just enough to get a good look at the Phouka. "I will woo and woo, and woo... I still like saying woo. Woo."

[phouka]

"I will stop you from saying it," the Phouka laughed. He was smiling brightly as he caught Winter in another kiss. He could scarcely choose between smiling and kissing and he wound up doing neither very well.

Winter giggled, attempting to say the word one more time into the phouka's mouth, but it faded to a gentle moan. HE was starting to regret taking the Phouka out to see art when they could be at home, kissing and touching...

He had though, and he made himself pull away, tugging the Phouka deeper into the museum as he giggled brightly again.

The Phouka was willingly dragged along. They passed sculpture of all kinds, but the Phouka tugged Winter to a stop in front of one sculpture in particular.

"I like art," he said, looking a bit wicked as he examined what they saw. He had thought art was dull, but this was rather naughty. He liked it.

Winter couldn't stop another giggle from escaping, but he knew that museums were serious places for serious people. So he hid his face against the Phouka's arm as he continued to laugh.

"Art is very good," he agreed once he'd calmed down, face a bit pink from laughing so much.

[phouka]

"How do you say this word?" he asked when Winter had calmed a bit. He'd spent the time trying to read the plaque. "Pom...Pompee?" he asked, confused by the spelling of Pompeii. What he could read was Pan and Goat.

"Pom-pay," Winter offered helpfully. "You know, the place with the volcano, where people died. I watched a movie about it, but I don't think it was very realistic... It was scary though. Volcanoes are intense. They're all ash and smoke- And lava. Lots of lava."

[phouka]

"A volcano? Like Mount Doom?" he asked, having watched those very long films not too long ago. He turned an eye back to the sculpture. "Were there hobbits in Pom-Pay?"

[winter_wisp]

"No, the hobbits were in Mordor. I think Pompeii was just people. ...And goat people maybe, and goats. ...Goats they loved very much. Too much maybe? I don't think you're supposed to love goats that way," Winter added, frowning thoughtfully.

[phouka]

"I like to eat goats," he replied. "But I do not think I would like to shag a goat. They kick."

He was quite sure he would prefer to not be kicked, especially without trousers on.

[winter_wisp]

"I kick," Winter said with an impish grin, tapping the Phouka's shin with the toe of his shoe. "You shag me though."

Smiling, he tugged the Phouka along, pausing in front of a female statue that was missing an arm. She had long legs though, and though she was slim, she had a slightly rounded tummy. She wore nothing more than a sheet, which covered nothing, and instead flowed loosely around her, permanently caught in a light breeze.

"...She's pretty. I wish I had a statue. We could have one each, hmm? Or one where we're together. That would be cool."

[phouka]

"You would be a lovely subject for a sculpture," the Phouka smiled softly. "I am already created from mud...I am the Queen's sculpture, I think."

[winter_wisp]

"You were, but you are flesh now. You're free," Winter said softly. "You are lovely though, a perfect piece of art. The best sculpture in the world."

[phouka]

"I like to be free. Perhaps you could make a sculpture," The Phouka suggested. "You should. But make sure I have both arms."

"What if I run out of clay or stone?" The pixie asked.
