Phouka
Valentine's had passed, and as lovely as that day had been, Winter found himself still caught up in the lingering romance of the day. He'd taken to watching romantic comedies, rather than horror flicks. Had even started reading more romantic novels, rather than the historical novels he'd been swimming in before. He even found himself tidying up more, keeping the bedroom neat and inviting, so they'd both be more inclined to linger there.
And tonight? Tonight he had decided they should go out to do something romantic. ...A trip to the museum, he'd decided. Art was definitely romantic. Couples were always looking at art in movies and things.
Dressed up, the pixie was looking like an actual adult as he lead the way inside, his hand reaching for the Phouka's as he spoke.
"This will be fun, don't you think? We can look at art, then get some coffee at the cafe," he grinned. "...Or not coffee. Whatever you want. It's my treat, Phouka."

Winter blushed, but snapped the photo.
"This one is perfect," he said softly.

"Then you should show everyone. Everyone in the world," the simple creature said. "And then we can see all the art. And get food. I want food soon."
no subject
"We can get food here if you like," Winter said, adding a bunch of stickers to the photo before posting it on Insta. "Whatever you want, Phouka. The day is yours."

"If it is my choice, I choose to kiss you again," he said, darting in to kiss Winter's cheek again. "I will kiss you always. Except when I am eating. I would not want to bite you."
He smiled at that, thinking it was a rather good joke.

"You can bite me whenever you like, Phouka," the pixie purred, a little hint of something sultry in his tone.

The Phouka, taking things quite literally so very often, had come to understand Winter's tone. Sometimes it was not what he said, but how he said it. Hearing it made the Phouka smile.
"I think I will," he said. "I think I will bite you all over."

"I am very delicious," Winter giggled. "You will be feasting for days."
no subject
"I will not dispute this. You are quite delicious," he said. He moved in closer and pulled Winter to him. "I think you are wooing me very well."
no subject
"Wooing accomplished! Now I will feed you," Winter decided cheerfully.
no subject
"Yes! Now food," he agreed enthusiastically. The art was nice, he imagined, but terribly boring compared to how much fun Winter could be all on his own.

"Come, there's a cafe.... Over that way, I think. They sell coffee and cakes, and sandwiches..." Winter said, happily listing menu items as he started to walk.

The Phouka was happy to join him. By the time they reached the cafe his mouth was watering. He was spoiled for choice once they were there and his belly rumbled as if he hadn't eaten in days rather than hours.
"I want a sandwich and coffee," he said. "The one with the most meat. That's the one I want."

"Mmm, cake too," he said and approached the young woman to give his order. And he ordered for Winter as well, then flashed the pixie a smile.
"Cake for both," he said proudly. "She will bring it to us if we sit. Where should we sit?"

"I prefer to watch you. But other people are quite a distraction, too," he agreed.

no subject
"Which is precisely why you are a hundred times more compelling," he smiled, his dark eyes full of love for Witer alone.
no subject
"I like when you watch me, Phouka," Winter said softly. "I like your gaze on me."
no subject
"I could scarcely look anywhere else, my dear pixie. You ar the light that shines so that I may see at all," he promised, reaching to take winter's hand.

"You should say such things always. And I will forever swoon in your arms and into your bed," the Phouka smiled, his cheeks darkening just so to give away his blush.
no subject
"If you swooned in my arms, I don't know if I could catch you, Phouka," Winter giggled.
no subject
"I would squash you. Like a little bug. Only your wings peeking out while you chirp 'help me, help me.."
The image in his mind was vivid enough to make him laugh, but there was nothing cruel in it. As he looked at Winter there was only love.
no subject
"Rude," Winter giggled. "I am unsquishable, Phouka."
